Tomas was born in Ilo Ilo city in the Philippines.
After teaching and missionary work with the Catholic church he immigrated to Canada.
Passionate about cooking authentic Filipino foods for friends and family first from home
and then expanding to "The Taste of Manilla" in August 2018 where he was
a success.
Senyorita Filipino Streetfoods was opened in Jan.2019 after four months of creating a store
reminiscent of the Philippines. It was a huge project to build a restaurant.
Why Senyorita?
It derives from the spanish word "single lady."
Figurative name in filipino with elite impressions about a rich and fine lady.
Senyorita Streetfoods was inspired with the winning of MissUniverse 2015 by
Pia Wurtzbach of the Philippines.
Her crown inspired me to create a lady logo for Senyorita.
Serving food with authentic filipino taste in confidently beautiful presentation and taste that will surely be 100% Philippines.
